The Lady in Dignity (Woman of Dignity) is a South Korean television series starring Kim Hee-sun, Kim Sun-ah, Jung Sang-hoon with Lee Tae-im and Lee Ki-woo. The series aired on cable network JTBC on Fridays and Saturdays at 23:00 (KST) from June 16, 2017. It became one of the highest rated Korean dramas in cable television history. The story of an elegant Cheongdam-dong woman named Woo Ah-jin, who relished a life of luxury by marrying a quasi-chaebol son, until Park Bok-ja walks into her life.

Myanmar Idol is a popular Myanmar singing contest television series that is broadcast on Myanmar Network TV. Its first season, in 2016, was described by The Myanmar Times as a "wild success". It has had a second season in 2017, and the third season is in 2018. Following the success of American Idol and other IDOL series, Shwe Thanlwin created a Myanmar version of the series with identical formats and methods. Broadcast on Myanmar Network TV on Sky Net, it grew to be more popular than Eain Mat Sone Yar and Melody World which were once the most popular singing competition series in Myanmar. In 2016, the first Myanmar Idol Singing Competition held auditions in four major cities, Yangon, Mandalay, Pathein and Taunggyi. The series judges, Ye Lay, Chan Chan and May Sweet chose the Top 11 finalists. After further stages, the Top 3 finalists, Saw Lah Htaw Wah, M Zaw Rain and Ninzi May advanced to the Grand Final Show, where Saw Lah Htaw Wah became the winner of Myanmar Idol 2016.

MRTV, Myanma Radio and Television is a free-to-air television channel that mainly broadcasts Local news. Radio service in Myanmar first came on air in 1936 during the British colonial era. Regular programming by Bama Athan  began in February 1946 when the British established Burma Broadcasting Service (BBS), carrying Burmese language national and foreign news and musical entertainment, knowledge reply and school lessons and English language news and music programming. After independence in 1948, it was named Myanma Athan . The service was renamed Myanmar Radio  in 1988. The junta has also renamed the radio service's parent, BBS as Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) in 1997. Until the launch of Yangon City FM in 2001, BBS/Myanmar Radio was the only radio station in the country. For years, its main broadcast center is at 426 Pyay Road in Kamayut in Yangon. Since late 2007, the main broadcast station has moved to Naypyidaw. Yangon Station now mostly relays Naypyidaw Station's programming. Television service in Myanmar was first introduced in 1979 as a test trial in Yangon. MRTV was first launched on 3 June 1980, and regular television service was first formally launched in 1981.
